Starting to get the hang of things

So, starting to get used to being in France, going to a french university and in general blend in with all the french people. This unfortunately means that I tend to down prioritise the blog, but I honesty think that is a good sign!

Not many big news from last week. I managed to get up early to go biking before class on wednesday.
Leaving home!
The château ruins are actually quite large.
View of Saint-Péray and a bit of château de Crussol in the foreground
More of  the château
This has kind of ended up being my normal trip, two hours total and super nice. The château is almost at the top of the hill, and is a perfect spot to get some pictures :) (And to catch my breath...)

Valence!
There is also some school work in between all the biking. I've had to change some of my chosen subjects, as two of the ones I chose doesn't exist anymore. The 4th year subjects aren't too difficult, but I think some of the ones in the 5th year will be quite a challenge…
Notes from MA520...
Saturday Léa, one of my colocs, and I did a yoga-ish class at the gym. It was bring-a-friend day:)  Afterwards we went to the marked to buy fruit, vegetables and cheese :D Followed by a trip to the boulangerie to buy baguettes and a coffee break at one of the little restaurants. That is a nice way to start the day! However, after a super nice lunch consisting of the goodies we'd bought that morning, I really felt like a little VTT!
Another one..
Finished the day by eating lots of crêpes, first salé and then sucré, and a trip to the bowling alley! As bowling is not one of my strengths, there will be no pictures. (Nevertheless it was all very good fun.)

Sunday was another early start. I'd agreed to go biking with Fred, and as the weather forecast predicted thunder in the afternoon, an early start seemed like a good idea.

Me and my bike on the train again!
To make a long story short: La Bastille - Mont Jalla - Mont Rachis - le Sappey - Fort du Saint-Eynard = FIVE hours!
Yeey!!! Finally at the top!
Woop woop! Downhill from here :D
Was a really nice trip, we were joined by Marion, another rider who lives in Grenoble. Might be even more of us going out next weekend. However, I was a bit tired when I got back yesterday so the weekly update is therefore a bit late… I'll try and do something exciting during the week and give you guys a bonus update before the weekend :)

À Bientôt!
